New Video: "Symphony Incarnadine" - Live in Taidong

Tie Hua Village (鐵花村)
1 July 2014

(Kyle Scheihagen; arr. Electric Monk)

Electric Monk performed its last two shows in Taidong (台東) and Dulan (都蘭) respectively. The show in Taidong at Tie Hua Cun (鐵花村) was filmed on 3 different cameras thanks to 黃泓碩 (Huáng Hóng-shuò). This is the second video edited by my brother Dale. We're grateful to all of those involved for the assistance, as well as the opportunity to perform at Tie Hua Cun.

The band is:
Kyle Jeffcoat - violin
Ed Schaeffer - drums
Brent Scheihagen - bass & vocals
Kyle Scheihagen - guitar & vocals

This song is called "Symphony Incarnadine" and was written by Kyle Scheihagen.

Enjoy!
Brent

"Symphony Incarnadine"

I’ve been dreaming
of a new kind of woman
I’ve been livin’ for
   a new kind of lovin’
My love she flew so high
she crashed and kissed the ground
I picked up all the pieces,
   now they follow me around
If you love me, let me go,
Cuz, either way now I’m out the door

Would she despise me
for the love that I give her
If it gets dried up
by the sun like the river?
You know I love you
and you know I love you well
But lately life has turned
   into a sad suburban hell
So, if you love me, let me go,
Cuz, either way now I’m out the door

I had a dream I kissed all the girls
They sang to me in tidal whirls
The poetry of broken dreams
A symphony incarnadine
If you love me, let me go,
Cuz, either way now I’m out the door
If you love me, let me go
